Neil Sauls Fresh Produce (NSFP) was established in 2011 as a wholesale supplier of fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs to the Hospitality and Catering Industries, sourcing local produce from our extensive network of reputable farmers in the Boland and surrounding areas. We serve a wide range of businesses ranging from supermarkets, schools, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, commercial kitchens and private catering companies.
Our vision is to supply each customer with the freshest, highest quality processed vegetables, fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs, cultivating long-term relationships with our clients and farmers through communication and mutual respect. Our philosophy is to provide clients with cost-effective services without compromising on quality assurance. Customer satisfaction is a priority which can only be reached through a good understanding of clients’ needs and involvement of clients in projects as we progress. Our goal is to continuously strive to improve and innovate our products and services.
Our fleet consists of 2 x Hino 3 ton refrigerator trucks and 5 x Isuzu kb 250 delivery vehicles with insulated canopies that do daily deliveries all across the Western Cape, including but not limited to the Waterfront, CBD, Somerset West, Hermanus, Paarl, Wellington, Worcester, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek and as far as Melkbos Strand on the R27 and Matjiesfontien on the N1.
NSFP has extensive experience in fresh produce procurement and supply chain management having successfully completed several tenders and many other large-scale supply contracts for state and private hospitals and shipping vessels.
We work in partnership with our suppliers, and believe that integrity, reliability and honesty are integral to who we are as a business. Our fresh produce is supplied by farms we trust, and we insist on Fair Trade principles and ethical business practices that support the smaller black farmers. We also ensure that the standard of produce we accept, and its delivery to our clients and your customers’ tables, are all done to the highest hygiene, ethical and quality standards.
It is this passion and commitment to excellence and quality that has established our reputation for nearly a decade.
No produce is ever wasted, as undesirable fruits and vegetables are donated to the various feeding schemes and community projects within the area. NSFP is a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor and 100% black owned, youth managed and currently employs 18 high capacity permanent staff members (14 males and 4 females all under the age of 35).
